Tottenham Hotspur just signed central defender Tosin Adarabioyo from Chelsea.Personal terms are agreed, and he’s just got to pass his medical before signing a long-term deal with Spurs.
This is a permanent move. The initial fee is around 7 million pounds, with some extra bits in there based on how he performs. What’s interesting is that this is the first time Chelsea has directly sold a player to Tottenham since Carlo Cudicini back in 2009.
Adarabioyo is 6 ft 5 in and has plenty of Premier League experience. With Kevin Danso heading to Sunderland, Adarabioyo will immediately boost the central defense, giving Roberto De Zerbi another option alongside Jan Paul van Hecke as the team gets ready for the 2026/27 season.
