Tottenham’s looking at Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk, apparently. They’ve put in a call about possibly bringing the 25-year-old winger in on loan before the transfer window shuts.
It seems like Spurs want to add some more punch to their wide attacking game, and Mudryk could be the guy. He’s just finished up a suspension, so he’s available now, which might explain why this is popping up so late in the window.
If this loan move happens, it would mean Mudryk would be playing for Roberto De Zerbi again. They worked together back at Shakhtar Donetsk, and that’s when Mudryk really started to shine.
Mudryk’s got that real directness, can accelerate quickly, and is a serious threat when transitioning from defense to offense. He did really well in De Zerbi’s attacking setup at Shakhtar before. Maybe a move to Spurs, under De Zerbi again, could be just what he needs to get back to his top form.
Right now, it’s all still very early days. Both London clubs are just figuring out the details before the deadline hits.
