Real Madrid Target Arsenal Midfielder

Just one year after making his high-profile £51m move to North London from Real Sociedad, Martín Zubimendi is once again at the center of Europe’s biggest transfer story. Reports out of Spain indicate that Real Madrid are actively considering a marquee swoop for the 27-year-old midfielder, but Arsenal have no intention of letting their Spanish maestro leave on the cheap.

The Gunners have established a firm stance and  will only entertain an exit if a fee in the region of  £77 million is met.

Los Blancos have maintained a long-standing admiration for Zubimendi. Having missed out on Manchester City’s Rodri, Madrid view Zubimendi as the ideal deep-lying organizer to dictate the tempo of their midfield.

His composure under pressure, positional discipline, and tactical intelligence make him an ideal fit for Real Madrid’s structure as they look to refresh their central core

With Real Madrid assessing their options and direct Premier League rivals also monitoring the situation, a high-stakes bidding war could test Arsenal’s resolve before the summer transfer window closes.
