Danny Ings has officially signed with Wycombe Wanderers. The 34-year-old striker will be with the League One club until the end of the season. He impressed the coaching staff during a trial at Adams Park.

Ings was a free agent after leaving Sheffield United last season. He trained with Wycombe for a few days to stay fit and show his goal-scoring ability. The club quickly offered him a short-term contract.
He can play right away in League One. Ings will be playing with Sam Vokes, a former teammate from Burnley. With 17 professional seasons behind him, Ings brings experience and leadership to Adams Park.
He has scored 72 Premier League goals and has a knack for scoring in the penalty box, staying calm under pressure. He can play as the main striker or link up with a player like Sam Vokes, which gives Wycombe more attacking options.
His experience in major European competitions and international games will also be valuable for mentoring Wycombe’s younger forwards.
