Liverpool Open Direct Talks With Bournemouth for Brazilian Sensation Rayan

Liverpool’s summer transfer overhaul is heating up as the Reds have officially entered club-to-club contact with Bournemouth regarding teenage sensation Rayan.

According to reports via transfer insider @indykaila, direct talks are underway between the two Premier League sides. However, Bournemouth have made their position abundantly clear: they hold a strict valuation for the 19-year-old forward and are determined not to budge.

Since arriving on the South Coast from Vasco da Gama in January 2026 for £24.7m, Rayan made an immediate splash in English football. The powerful left-footed attacker netted 5 Premier League goals in just 15 appearances, becoming one of only sixteen teenagers in Premier League history to score in three consecutive matches.

His blistering form earned him a call-up to the senior Brazil national team, featuring at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. With Liverpool actively seeking a long-term successor on the right flank following Mohamed Salah’s departure, Rayan’s profile, tactical versatility, and elite physical presence make him a top priority.

With Liverpool eager to finalize their attacking options ahead of the new campaign, negotiations are expected to continue as the Reds evaluate whether to match Bournemouth’s firm valuation or structure a deal involving heavy add-ons. It is believed Rayan has a £130 million slapped onto his contract.
