Inter Milan Lead Battle for Curtis Jones as Newcastle Enter the Frame

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones could be facing a pivotal decision on his Anfield future this summer, with Serie A champions Inter Milan actively pushing for a transfer alongside interest from Newcastle United.

With the 25-year-old entering the final year of his contract, speculation surrounding his departure has intensified, making him one of the most talked-about midfielders in the current window.

Inter Milan have renewed their pursuit of the England international after initial contact earlier in the year with  a willingness to structure a deal worth €35m (£30m) while the Reds currently value their homegrown midfielder closer to £35m–£40m

Jones is open to a new challenge in Serie A, enticed by the prospect of consistent starting minutes in San Siro and top-tier Champions League football.

While Inter lead the charge, Newcastle United have made enquiries as they assess midfield reinforcements to bolster their central unit with Aston Villa also monitoring the situation, signaling strong Premier League demand should Liverpool decide to sell.

Jones’ press resistance, ball-carrying capability, and technical quality make him a compelling target for domestic clubs seeking control in the engine room.
