Emiliano Martínez Says YES to Chelsea Move!

Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez, Aston Villa’s goalkeeper, is reportedly set to join Chelsea. The 33-year-old, who was part of the World Cup-winning squad, has apparently told his agents he wants the move to Stamford Bridge. He’s keen to get the transfer done before the window closes, even though Chelsea won’t be playing in European competitions this season.

Aston Villa seems open to letting the experienced keeper go for less than £10 million. This comes after they signed Zion Suzuki to be their new starting goalkeeper. Chelsea’s management is looking into the deal, which also depends on sorting out the situation with their existing goalkeepers and making room on the roster.

Chelsea is looking for a reliable presence in goal, and Martínez offers top-tier shot-stopping skills, composure in big matches, and proven Premier League experience. His apparent desire to move could give Chelsea a cost-effective way to strengthen their squad before the transfer deadline.
