Chelsea Seal £47M Deal in Principle for Monaco Star Lamine Camara

Chelsea have reached an agreement in principle with AS Monaco to complete the signing of Senegalese international midfielder Lamine Camara.

With the deadline approaching, the Stamford Bridge hierarchy pushed hard to finalize terms with Monaco on a total deal structured around €55 million. Camara has been given full authorization to travel to London to undertake his medical tests and complete all formal contract procedures.

The 22-year-old Senegal international brings elite work rate, ball-winning tenacity, and progressive passing qualities that compliment Chelsea’s tactical setup. Having excelled at AS Monaco, Camara has demonstrated rapid development into one of Ligue 1’s premier central midfielders.

With initial agreements locked in between both clubs and the player’s camp, parties are now racing to complete medical checks and sign all transfer documents before the window closes. An official unveiling at Stamford Bridge is expected upon successful completion of his medical.
