La Liga outfit Celta Vigo have struck an agreement with Manchester United to sign Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayındır on a season-long loan deal.
The agreement includes a €4 million purchase option, which can become mandatory depending on the 28-year-old reaching a specific threshold of appearances during the upcoming campaign.
Bayındır is set to travel to Spain to undergo medical tests and finalize personal terms as he looks to reignite his career as a starting goalkeeper.
Since arriving at Old Trafford from Fenerbahçe in the summer of 2023, Bayındır found starting opportunities hard to come by in Manchester. Seeking guaranteed minutes, the Turkish international has been eager for a fresh challenge.
