Former Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson has completed his medical and signed terms to join Dutch giants Feyenoord as a free agent.
The 26-year-old Englishman became available on the market after mutually terminating his contract with Arsenal—where he spent 18 years, made 90 first-team appearances, and famously helped secure the 2020 FA Cup
This marks a permanent return to De Kuip for Nelson, who previously enjoyed a standout loan spell with Feyenoord during the 2021–22 season under Arne Slot. During that campaign, he registered 4 goals and 7 assists across 32 appearances, playing a pivotal role in leading the club to the UEFA Europa Conference League final.
Joining as a free agent allowed Feyenoord to complete the deal smoothly outside standard European transfer deadline constraints. Following recent squad departures, Nelson provides proven wide attacking depth for Feyenoord’s domestic and European campaigns.
