Juventus seems to be really pushing to get Franck Kessié signed. The club’s management is apparently keen to wrap this up quickly and not let other teams jump in.
There have been direct conversations, not just between club officials but also with the coach, Luciano Spalletti, and the player’s representatives. They’ve been laying out the plan for him and trying to get him to commit.
Spalletti and Sporting Director Frederic Massara themselves reached out to Kessié. They made sure he knows how important he’s seen as a key player for the midfield next season. The offer on the table is for three years, running until June 2029, with a salary in the range of €4.5 million to €5 million net per year, plus some extras. It looks like Kessié himself is giving Juventus top priority, preferring a move back to Serie A over more profitable offers to stay in Saudi Arabia.
Juventus is putting in the work now to finalize everything in the next few hours. They want to sort out the last details before any competing clubs have a chance to make a move.
Kessié, who is 29 and has played for AC Milan and Barcelona, brings a strong physical presence, good pressing, and a solid track record in Serie A. He’s coming off winning the MVP award for the 2025–26 AFC Champions League Elite. With him, Spalletti gets the kind of versatile, strong box-to-box midfielder that Juventus’s midfield has reportedly been missing.
