Tottenham Hotspur have struck a landmark agreement in principle with Manchester City to sign Brazilian winger Savinho. As reported by The Athletic’s David Ornstein, the North London club will land their primary summer transfer target in a blockbuster deal worth up to £85 million.
The transfer represents a massive financial statement by Spurs, while simultaneously marking the largest sale in Manchester City’s history.
Spurs previously attempted to sign the 22-year-old winger during the 2025/26 campaign, but City stood firm. However, with Roberto De Zerbi pushing aggressively for an attack overhaul—amplified by injury concerns to Mohammed Kudus and Dejan Kulusevski—Tottenham reignited talks to finally get their man.
With personal terms already settled, medical examinations and paperwork finalization will proceed swiftly as Savinho prepares to make his move to North London.
