Tottenham Hotspur seems to be making some big moves late in the transfer window. They’ve reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Omar Marmoush, an Egyptian forward. He’s apparently agreed to personal terms, so he’s ready to come to North London.
Now, the clubs are talking. Tottenham and Manchester City are said to be in advanced discussions, and the rumored price is around £75 million. If everything goes smoothly, this deal should wrap up pretty quickly before the window shuts.
It’s not just Marmoush, either. Under coach Roberto De Zerbi, Spurs have apparently also signed Savinho, a Brazilian winger, from Manchester City for about £85 million. So, it’s a double signing from the Etihad.
Marmoush joined Manchester City back in January 2025 from Eintracht Frankfurt. It sounds like he hasn’t had a lot of starts there, with players like Erling Haaland in the lineup. He’s apparently keen to get a main role in De Zerbi’s attacking setup in London.
If both these deals go through, it would push Tottenham’s total summer spending well over £380 million. That’s on top of the earlier signings of Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, and Jan Paul van Hecke.
