Liverpool’s summer search for elite attacking firepower has landed squarely on PSG winger Bradley Barcola, with talks officially underway between the two European giants.
The French international has emerged as Liverpool’s primary target to bolster their frontline. While personal terms between the club and the player are already locked in and present zero issues, reaching an agreement on the transfer fee is proving to be the real battleground.
Liverpool launched an opening proposal worth €100 million that PSG has turned down and are reportedly holding out for a fee closer to €120m–€140m.
Negotiations remain active and ongoing as both clubs look for common ground.
Barcola is reportedly fully sold on the project at Anfield with reports adding that he has already had conversations with new Reds Coach, Andoni Iraola. Having indicated his desire to make the move, the 23-year-old winger has given the green light on personal terms, leaving the ball firmly in the clubs’ court to finalize a deal.
With Liverpool actively pushing and PSG exploring potential wide replacements in the market, talks are expected to continue in the coming days as the Reds attempt to bridge the valuation gap for their top target.
