Trabzonspor Table €17M a Year  Deal to Snatch Mohamed Salah

Trabzonspor have officially entered the race for global superstar Mohamed Salah, meeting directly with the Egyptian winger and his agent, Ramy Abbas, to pitch a sensational free-transfer move.

The offer on the table? A massive €17 million per season on a two-year contract—totaling €34 million in guaranteed wages, with corporate sponsors stepping up to help back the mega-deal

Only days ago, it appeared Beşiktaş were in pole position to land the 34-year-old icon. The Istanbul giants had put forward a structured package, €15 million per year guaranteed and Performance add-ons taking the total payout up to €19–20 million annually.

However, talks reached an abrupt standstill. Beşiktaş Football Director Önder Özen made it clear the club would not breach its internal wage structure or offer special privileges, pulling back from active negotiations after Salah’s camp requested higher guaranteed terms.

Seeing an opening, Trabzonspor executives wasted no time stepping into the void. By offering a flat €17 million net per year without reliant bonuses, Trabzonspor’s package provides the financial certainty Salah’s representatives were seeking in Istanbul.

Documents have reportedly begun circulating between both parties as Salah discusses the sporting proposal and family logistics before delivering his final verdict

Following his legendary nine-year spell at Liverpool, Salah remains one of the world’s elite forwards. While interest from the Saudi Pro League remains active, Trabzonspor’s aggressive move shows they are serious about bringing elite, world-class star power to the Medical Park Stadium.
