Chelsea Secure Talisman on Improved Deal Until 2034

Chelsea have now made sure of the long-term future of their star man, with Cole Palmer agreeing on a better contract that will tie him down to Stamford Bridge until June 2034.

The contract offers another year to the player who was earlier contracted to stay at Chelsea till 2033 and offers a revamped salary package considering that Palmer is considered as one of the best attacking players in the English top-flight league.

Palmer has developed into the irrefutable heartbeat of Chelsea since joining the Blues from Manchester City in August 2023 in a £42.5 million move.

The 24-year-old playmaker has made 91 goal contributions (goals and assists) in 138 games in all competitions for the Blues. He has assisted the team in lifting the FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Conference League trophies during his time in West London.

The discussions he had with the manager, Xabi Alonso, sports directors, and the club ownership convinced Palmer in the project of the club.

Reacting to his landmark signature, Palmer expressed his delight at continuing his journey in West London,

“Chelsea means a lot to me and I think the club is going in the right direction, so I’m delighted to sign and I’m obviously very happy. Speaking to the owners, to the sporting directors and obviously the manager, they gave me a lot of confidence, so it was only right to sign.”
