Kevin Schade, the forward for Brentford, seems to be getting a call-up to the German national team for the UEFA Nations League games that will start soon, and it looks like the new manager, Jürgen Klopp, really wants him on the team. This is, of course, assuming Schade stays healthy and fits into Klopp’s plans.
It’s interesting because he wasn’t picked for the 2026 World Cup squad by Julian Nagelsmann. But Schade’s been playing really well at the start of this Premier League season, and that form has definitely put him back on the radar for the German team.
With Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbeumo leaving Brentford recently, Schade has really become a key player for Thomas Frank’s team. He even scored two goals against AFC Bournemouth, showing off that speed, his strength in the air, and that intense pressing style that Klopp seems to like.
So, with a new manager in charge of the national team, Schade’s ability to play direct and get down the wings could give Germany some exciting options out wide for these upcoming Nations League matches.
